optimized format, modern connectors, functional design
The CG2400S has a 24.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, in 16:10 format. This expanded format compared to traditional Full HD makes it possible to display more vertically content, reducing the scrolling needs when working on complex interfaces. Even with the tools visible on the screen, the space remains sufficient to focus fully on the image. Its compact design facilitates its integration into any type of creative environment. In terms of connectivity, the monitor offers a USB type-C connection, which allows you to display video, transmit USB data and provide a 70 W power to a laptop or tablet.
This "all-in-one" system eliminates the need for additional cables and chargers, simplifies travel and allows you to keep a clear workspace. In addition, the instructor incorporates DisplayPort and HDMI ports, as well as four USB ports (2 5 Gbit/s-like and 2 USB 2.0-type ports) easily accessible. The design of the CG2400S is both sober, elegant and practical. It incorporates a transport handle at the rear to facilitate travel and fully adjustable ergonomic support (height, inclination, rotation). It is delivered with a light magnetic light bare man which effectively protects the screen from the reflections. In addition, its fan without fan guarantees total silence, ideal for calm environments.
faithful colors, automated calibration, advanced management
The CG2400S offers almost complete coverage of the main professional colorimetric spaces: 98 % of DCI-P3 (digital cinema), 99 % of the Adobe RGB (photography and printing), as well as the standards BT.709, BT.2020, ISO Coated V2 and US Web Coated (CMJN). This precision makes it possible to faithfully display the captured images and the contents intended for different supports, whether for the web, printing or diffusion. The monitor offers several factory presets for colorimetric spaces and gamma curves: DCI-P3, BT.709, BT.2020, as well as PQ (ST-2084) and HLG (BT.2100) for HDR content.
These profiles can be maintained with great precision thanks to the sensor integrated into the monitor, which automatically calibrates the screen at regular intervals, without an external device being necessary. The sensor, discreetly integrated on the upper edge, even allows you to continue working during the recalibration phase. Color management is centralized via the Colornavigator 7 software, developed by Eizo. It configures automatic recalibration plans, manage the different color modes simultaneously, ensure consistency with third -party sensors and record data directly in the monitor, for stable calibration even in the event of a computer change. For shared production environments, Colornavigator Network software allows an administrator to remotely manage a full park of coloredge monitors via a web browser. Hosted on a secure cloud server, it simplifies maintenance without investment additional server. Thanks to its 16 -bit (Lut) correspondence table, the monitor offers a fluid 10 -bit display, more than a billion colors simultaneously. The presence of a 3D Lut makes it possible to adjust the colors according to an RGB cube for a faithful rendering, even in the complex gradients. This Lut is also used to simulate film profiles via the integrated film emulation function.
video precision, image stability, long -term reliability
The CG2400S has been designed to respond to the strictest standards of professional video editing and broadcasting. It supports the Gamma HDR PQ (ST-2084) and HLG (BT.2100) curves, normalized respectively by the SMPTE and the International Telecommunications Union. It is possible to configure custom curves to display a camera log signal directly on the monitor via Colornavigator 7. The automatic synchronization function automatically adapts the brightness, the gamma curve and the color range according to the input signal metadata, eliminating manual adjustments between projects. Advanced visual analysis tools are integrated: Pixel inspection in real time via the OSD (display of input and output values for a given pixel), luminance warning to identify truncated areas in PQ content, or even alert out of range BT.709, which displays in gray levels the areas of a BT.2020 image not compatible with HDTV diffusion. A BT clipping mode is also available to simulate rendering in reduced colorimetric space. Customizable markers allow you to add safety zones to guarantee the visibility of the elements to the screen, such as subtitles or graphics. Image uniformity is ensured by Due (Digital Uniformity Equalizer) technology developed by Eizo, which corrects variations in brightness and chromaticity on the whole screen. An integrated temperature sensor, coupled with an algorithm using artificial intelligence, adjusts the screen parameters in real time to guarantee a coherent display, even with room temperature changes. Thanks to this technology, the monitor reaches its complete stability in just three minutes after ignition, against thirty usually. Each monitor is adjusted in the factory with precise gamma adjustment (RGB values measured from 0 to 255) and delivered with a detailed calibration ratio including the colorimetric cover, color temperature, gamma accuracy and the slab uniformity. Finally, Eizo guarantees the CG2400S for 5 years, including the LCD slab (up to 30,000 hours of use), and applies a brilliant zero pixel policy valid 6 months after purchase, a guarantee of reliability and manufacturing quality.
