APY STG24 2U FULL SSD storage server with GRAID SupremeRAID technology
We have developed a server using SSD disk technology while maintaining the data protection offered by APY STG products while remaining in a contained price range.
The APY STG24 FULL SSD servers offer the same security and management features as all APY STG servers:
- The data storage volumes as well as the system volume are secured. The operating system manages disk redundancy by software, which allows for faster reconstruction when replacing hard drives
- The email alerts allow you to monitor the proper functioning of the server remotely.
- Replacement disks and an inverter are systematically offered
- All APY STG FULL SSD servers can be managed remotely using an IPMI interface
- The administration and configuration of APY STG FULL SSD servers is done via a web interface.
The advantages of SSD (Solid State Disk) disks compared to hard disks are no longer to be demonstrated: faster access times (no mechanics), higher flow rates, reliability... and they do not suffer from performance drops linked to data splitting.
The performance of the APY STG24 FULL SSD GRAID version server therefore remains very high and does not drop over time.
We wanted to favor the flow rates of the APY STG24 FULL SSD server in a range of use that specifically corresponds to the needs of our customers in post-production as well as 3D and special effects studios.
Flow rates of more than 4 Gbytes/s in random mode are reached as soon as data exchanges of more than 128 Kbytes are used, which corresponds to files of the following type: image sequence, 3D database or VFX.
We have integrated a card SupremeRAID™ SR-1010 in PCIe Gen 4 that delivers ultra-fast SSD performance for 2U cloud and enterprise servers. Designed for Linux and Windows operating systems, it supports RAID levels 0/1/10/5/6/JBOD while the main software license supports up to 24 native NVMe drives. Its powerful performance capabilities are ideal for applications such as AI/ML, databases, Fintech (high-frequency trading), media streaming, 4K and 8K video, and any performance-intensive application.
